Sales Development Representatives - German speaker (Barcelona)

Soprano delivers to large enterprise and government organisations a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) that makes their trusted mobile interactions more valuable and meaningful.

 

We are building a new team of Sales Development Representatives (‘SDR’) to generate leads, build our pipeline, identify and engage new potential enterprise customers, and connect these customers with the sales team to discuss and close sales of our award-winning technology product. 

 

We are looking for SDRs to support our sales efforts in German speaking markets. A working knowledge of Spanish and/or English is also required.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Generating leads and prospecting new business opportunities through a range of channels including leveraging existing networks, sales tools, and telephone-based prospecting
  • Run outreach campaigns using a combination of phone, email, and social media
  • Qualifying the leads during a phone call, progressing through the sales funnel by leveraging strong product knowledge, and qualifying prospects as sales opportunities, then scheduling meetings for further consultations with our Business Development Managers
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of local telecommunications market, customer motivations, and customer buying patterns

Key Criteria

 

  • You are fluent/advanced level German (as well as working Spanish and/or English).
  • You have a minimum 2 years’ sales experience preferably in a software or technology environment e.g SaaS.
  • You are experienced in an outbound sales, call center or other phone based sales environment with the ability to manage a high volume of client contacts per day.
  • You are goal oriented with a passion for sales, generating leads and working in a fast-paced environment.
